By downloading, installing, or using TaleBuddy ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
TaleBuddy is operated by TaleBuddy ("we", "our", or "us"). The App is built for families — kids create magical stories, and parents help manage the experience.
TaleBuddy is designed for children ages 3–12 and their families. A parent or guardian is responsible for setting up the account and managing the app on behalf of their child. By creating an account, you confirm that you are a parent, guardian, or authorized family member.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities under it. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

You retain ownership of photos and personal information you upload. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content (including photos) through AI services solely for the purpose of generating personalized stories.
Stories, illustrations, audiobooks, and movies generated by the App are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share generated content with family and friends. You may not sell, redistribute, or commercially exploit AI-generated content without our prior written consent.
The App, its design, branding, and underlying technology are owned by TaleBuddy and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App.
Story generation requires credits. Credit costs vary by story length and type. Credits are non-refundable except where generation fails due to a technical error on our part, in which case credits are automatically refunded.
Subscription plans are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the respective store's policies. You can manage your subscription through your device's settings.
We may offer free credits to new users or as promotions. Free credits have no cash value and may expire. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free credit offers at any time.
TaleBuddy uses artificial intelligence to generate stories, illustrations, and other content. Please be aware that:
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the App's Settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases, and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
