TaleBuddy is an AI-powered story creation app for children ages 3–12. It lets you create personalized storybooks, audiobooks, and animated movies starring your child as the main character.

From the Home screen, tap any creation option — Storybook, Audiobook, or Movie. Choose a genre, mood, and themes, then add your child as the main character. TaleBuddy's AI will generate a fully illustrated, narrated story in minutes.

Go to the Family tab and tap Add Member. Enter your child's name and upload a clear, front-facing photo. This photo will be used to create a cartoon character that looks like your child in stories.

• Audiobook — A narrated storybook with AI-generated voices reading the story aloud.
• Movie — An animated video with scenes, narration, and background music.

Yes! You can choose the genre (adventure, fantasy, mystery, etc.), mood, themes, illustration style, story length, and even provide a specific story idea. After the story is generated, you can refine it with feedback like "make it funnier" or "add a dragon."

Text generation takes about 20–30 seconds. Illustrations take 5–8 minutes depending on story length. Movies take 10–15 minutes. You'll see real-time progress updates.

Absolutely. All content is generated with strict child-safety guardrails. The AI is instructed to create only age-appropriate, wholesome content with no violence, scary imagery, or inappropriate language. User inputs are also filtered for inappropriate content.

Credits are used to generate story illustrations and movies. Text generation and narration are included free. Different story lengths and movie durations cost different amounts of credits. You can see the cost before creating a story.

You can subscribe to a plan for monthly credits, or purchase credit packs individually. Go to the Subscription page from Settings to see available plans.

If a story seems stuck, try closing and reopening the app. Your progress is saved automatically. If the issue persists, the generation may have failed — you'll be refunded credits automatically and can try again.

Make sure you have a stable internet connection. Try force-closing the app and reopening it. If the problem continues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app — your stories are saved in the cloud and will be restored when you sign in.

Make sure you're entering your full phone number with country code. Check that you have cellular reception to receive the SMS verification code. If the code doesn't arrive, tap "Resend" after 30 seconds.
